1. About Smiles Turkey

Smiles Turkey is a dental tourism coordination service. We facilitate connections between patients and independent, accredited dental clinics in Istanbul, Turkey. We are not a dental clinic, and we do not provide clinical dental services directly. All clinical treatment is provided by independent, qualified dental professionals at our partner clinics.

2. The $200 Booking Deposit

A $200 deposit is required to reserve your clinic dates and confirm your all-inclusive package. This deposit is:

• Fully refundable if you cancel at least 21 days before your scheduled arrival date
• Transferable to a new date (free of charge, once) if you need to reschedule
• Non-refundable for cancellations within 21 days of arrival (clinic scheduling costs are incurred)
• Deducted from your total package balance, payable on arrival in Istanbul

3. Treatment Plans & Fixed Prices

All quoted treatment prices are based on the information you provide during your free online pre-assessment (photos, X-rays, description of your dental situation). Quoted prices are fixed and guaranteed provided:

• Your actual clinical situation on arrival matches the information provided during assessment
• No additional complications are discovered during the in-person clinical examination or 3D CT scan that require additional treatment not covered in the original quote

If additional clinical needs are discovered on arrival, your treating dentist will inform you of any additional costs before proceeding. You are under no obligation to proceed with any treatment beyond the original quoted plan.

4. Medical Disclaimer

Dental treatment results vary by individual. Smiles Turkey does not guarantee any specific clinical outcome. All treatment plans, procedures, and clinical decisions are made by qualified, independent dental professionals at our partner clinics. You should conduct your own due diligence regarding any dental treatment and consult with your home dentist where appropriate.

It is your responsibility to disclose all relevant medical history (medications, allergies, systemic conditions) to your treating dentist. Failure to do so may affect the safety or outcome of your treatment and releases Smiles Turkey from liability for any resulting complications.

5. Package Inclusions & Exclusions

Included: All dental treatment as quoted, 4-star hotel (room type as booked), private transfers (airport and clinic only), 3D CT scan and panoramic X-ray, patient coordinator service, post-procedure medications, treatment documentation.

Excluded: International flights, travel insurance, personal spending, meals (except where breakfast is included in hotel package), optional activities or excursions, treatments not included in the quoted plan.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all patients purchase comprehensive travel insurance before traveling, including medical evacuation coverage. Smiles Turkey is not responsible for costs arising from travel disruptions, flight cancellations, medical emergencies unrelated to dental treatment, or personal injury.

7. Aftercare Warranty

All treatments include a 12-month aftercare coordination warranty. This means we will facilitate communication between you and your treating dentist for 12 months after your treatment. Clinical warranty terms (implant warranty, veneer warranty) are governed by the treating clinic’s own warranty policy, which is provided to you in writing at the time of treatment.

8. Limitation of Liability

Smiles Turkey’s liability is limited to the coordination services provided. We are not liable for the clinical outcomes of dental treatment provided by independent partner clinics, personal injury or illness unrelated to our coordination services, costs arising from flight cancellations or travel disruptions, or loss of personal belongings during your trip.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Turkey. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Istanbul courts. This does not affect any consumer rights you may have under the laws of your home country.
